Volt is immediately hiring multiple Production Workers for a company specializes in the manufacturing of aerospace technologies in Carroll, IA.
As a Production Worker you will:
- Set up and operate machinery according to standard work.
- Make machine adjustments
- Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Understand and follow quality testing techniques
- Learn how to inspect products using precision gauges, measuring instruments and equipment
- Demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions.
- Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.
- Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activities
Night shift
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to learn machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with production equipment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and documentation.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred.
Pay Rate: $20.50/ hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
