Job Description

Volt is currently seeking a highly qualified Program Coordinator/Technical Writer to join one of our clients in Bethesda, MD. Our client offers exciting job opportunities as a leading organization in defense, aviation, information technology, and biomedical research.

  1. Work in an agile and fast paced environment supporting NIH scientists, researchers and IT professionals whose mission is to solve unique and challenging problems.
  2. Gathering project metrics from various teams, assisting with program invoice generation, hardware tracking, roster management, and on or off boarding of Program Staff members
  3. Capturing meeting minutes and providing assistance with creating presentations and technical documentation. 
  4. Assist with System Testing on a part time basis.

  • Bachelor’s Degree w/ 1+ years’ experience in a project execution environment.
  • Must have excellent technical writing skills
  • Must be able to capture detailed and accurate meeting minutes
  • Must have strong capabilities with Microsoft Office products, specifically with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be an effective verbal and written communicator, able to work with both technical and business users
  • Must have a commitment to delivering high-quality artifacts
  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency, and the ability to work independently and proactively in achieving team and individual objectives
  • Must be comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Must have strong attention to detail and an inquisitive mindset


  • Experience working in Project Management domain
  • Experience working directly with the Business and Subject Matter Experts
  • Experience developing and maintaining system design documentation
  • Experience with System Testing
  • Degree in a STEM field


  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. 
  • Must be able to work onsite in the Bethesda, MD office on all working days of the week.
