Job Description

The Junior Relationship Manager role is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with managers and supplier partners as a part of the greater Managed Services Provider (MSP) team supporting a Volt client program.

Volt's MSP programs provide the tools, insights, and expertise for organizations to improve talent quality, reduce risk, and control costs across their entire contingent program. Volt is currently seeking to fill this role for a key client in Oak Ridge, TN.

Junior Relationship Managers (RM) must conduct themselves in a professional manner and possess a desire for success with a competitive spirit. A successful and effective Junior RM has excellent communication skills, is well organized and detailed oriented, while executing with perseverance and tenacity. The overall goal is to consult with the customer to ensure full utilization of the staffing program, drive efficiencies and continually improve customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Works to exceed MSP program specific SLA's by ensuring timely quality focused customer service.
  • Ensures adherence and compliance to safety training, policies, procedures and is an advocate for safety in the workplace.
  • Point of contact with managers and suppliers in the expedition of pre-requirement/onboarding processing for temporary contract resources.
  • Primary point of contact for payroll partner and resources.
  • Timecard resolution
  • Ensures fiscal and ethical standards are met.
  • Ensures all processes and procedures and best practices are documented accurately
  • Provide seamless support to MSP programs
  • Provide accurate and timely requested reporting
  • Works with assigned Business Units to develop them to their fullest potential
  • Responsible for training and educating partners as needed
  • Assist with resume review and negotiates bill rates as necessary.
  • Assist with soliciting feedback on presented resumes from managers
  • Assist in creating and facilitating presentations of all types


  • Proven communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external customers
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point; Lotus Notes, Internet
  • Prior customer account management or recruiting experience is a plus
  • Previous sales experience, marketing or other customer relation positions is a plus
  • MSP experience preferred Vendor Management Software (VMS) experience a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
