Job Description

Volt is looking for a Program Manager to work on-site with our customer in Sanford, NC on a 6+ month contingent assignment. The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project. Job Responsibilities may include:

  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct QMS audits 
  •  Examine records and interviews workers to ensure compliance with documented procedures 
  • Maintain audit schedule and audit records 
  • Document findings and recommendations and review them with management
  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
  • May recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects


  • Candidate should have a minimum of a 2-year degree or 2 years of functional experience required.
  • Microsoft Office - will need to be an intermediate excel user. Will use the entire suite of Office products. 
  • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor required. 
  • Understanding of internal auditing standards required. 
  • Analytical abilities, understanding of business processes, and the ability to identify control deficiencies and process issues and recommend potential solutions required. 
  • Understanding internal control concepts and experience in applying them to plan, perform, and report on the evaluation of various business processes / areas / functions preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management. 
  • Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance, and provide appropriate direction to other internal audit project team members. 
  • Strong organizational skills to properly plan and execute responsibilities.

 This position is subject to US Export Controls. Must be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
