Job Description

Position: Program Mgr Non-Tech 1 (GTA Global Talent)
Type: Contingent
Duration: 12 months – Likely to ext to full term 
Location: Redmond WA

Top Must-Have Hard Skills/Experience:

  • True program management delivery experience (assess risk, follow up and decide how to move forward)
  • Quality communication skills (previous experience taking verbal communication and translating it to concise written communication to be distributed to key stakeholders)
  • Ability to independently drive a project to completion


Develop, maintain, and manage program requirements, plans, timeline, issues, risks and challenges.  Support Managers to drive a program or projects.  Work closely with program/process owners, stakeholders and business partners to identify business change and drive the consensus necessary to adopt a manageable change strategy.  Manage programs and projects involving multiple parties/organizations with conflicting agendas and business priorities.  Lead cross-organization project teams towards targeted and scheduled outcomes.  Engage with program/process owners, stakeholders and business partners as necessary to communicate project objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress.

Additional Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience in consulting and/or program and project management including sharing of progress including scope, schedule, quality, risk and communications
  • Strong communication skills, ability to tailor to different audiences is a requirement
  • Excellent organizational skills to proactively create plans, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ask for help when needed
  • Team player, able to quickly build rapport with team members, stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Customer service and client management skills
  • Resourceful; you enjoy finding solutions to problems and learning new things
  • Experience working in a Program Manager or Project Manager role
  • Technical proficiency, embracing the use of tools to input and manage work items and report on deliverables
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Visual Studio and Teams
  • Excellent note taking skills, structuring them with action items and summarizing decisions and next steps
  • Ability to track and manage risks, tracking deliverables and resolutions
  • Support Program Manager with project management tasks
