Programmer Analyst Needed!

We have a great direct-hire opportunity with a company that is a world class manufacturer of home building products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your skills in programmer with analysis, design and development to implement solutions supporting multiple business units. You will work collaboratively with manufacturing, accounting, shipping, purchasing, order processing and many other areas within the company.

Essential Job Functions:
Programmer Analyst and Definition-

  • Work as a member of a business team to create specifications, design documents, and a plan for applications to be developed


  • Design and develop programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database and development tools to create, modify, test, and troubleshoot applications

Testing and User Support-

  • Work in conjunction with business users to conduct testing of the applications developed
  • Review applications developed by other team members, testing adequacy, and documentation

Team Development-

  • Mentor other team members to develop their skills
  • Research technologies to improve overall processes

We’re looking for a self-directed, self-motivated individual who enjoys working autonomously. Someone with strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications with an emphasis toward highly available and scalable global solutions.

You will be responsible for technical design, development and support of complex custom interfaces. The following are the experience you need to be successful in this role:

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience with Oracle Forms, Reports and BI Publisher-ideally.
  • Expertise in Oracle relational database technology OR we will train you!
  • Experience in programming of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL-ideally!
  • Scripting language knowledge in Perl or JavaScript.
  • Strong preference to individuals with experience in a manufacturing setting!
