Job Description

This is an estimated 12 month temporary position, in Renton, WA and is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. We are among the largest staffing companies in the US for contingent/temporary and direct hire placements, and support many of the top rated Pacific Northwest companies.

The Project Coordinator 2 participates in relevant projects, manages minor projects, provides daily support in maintaining project documentation, coordinating meetings, produces project reports, and provides other general office support. The Project Coordinator must be effective in time management while dealing with multiple projects and tasks. The position reports to the Manager and must establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels in the organizations, as well as with other organizational staff, vendors and agents, and others. In this role, the Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in implementation of projects and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops process maps and recommends process improvements to support increased efficiencies.
  • Completes literature searches and small research projects.
  • Manages small or low complexity project tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinates all aspects of capital purchasing, appropriate operational expenditures, and assists with managing the project budget.
  • Develops, maintains and distributes program/project information and documentation using standard documentation.
  • Performs assigned individual project tasks and modules and contributes to completion of team tasks accurately and timely.
  • Conducts training for customers on projects as appropriate.
  • Develops communication materials such as newsletters, emails, brochures and others by working closely with communication and marketing partners.
  • Runs reports and analyzes data through PR3 software to support specific project work.
  • Plans, coordinates and facilitates for multiple project meetings.

Skills required:

  • An Associate's degree OR equivalent education and experience in healthcare, project management, business or clinical operations or information technology.
  • Education in Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles preferred.

In this role, the Project Coordinator 2 of the PMO within the IS Implementation and Training is responsible for assisting in implementation of projects and programs assigned to the team in a manner that achieves the strategic goals of the organization.
