Project Coordinator, Substation Delivery

Seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to assist Project Managers in delivering substation projects.

As a Project Coordinator for Electrical Engineering Project Delivery, you will need to be competent in using Microsoft Office applications, have experience operating in Primavera P6 project scheduling software, and have exceptional verbal and written skills.  An associates or bachelor's degree in a related field of study is preferred. For consideration candidates shall have at least three (3) years of relevant experience.


  • AA/BS in related field of study
  • +3 years of experience
  • Experience supporting projects where value or budget is greater than $1M     
  • Advanced business computer skills such as MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Visio)          
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled with Project Management software
  • Strong working knowledge of key operation business process and core applications
  • Analytical/problem resolution skills


  • Aid in maintaining and monitoring project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Organize, attend, and document stakeholder meetings
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Ensure project deadlines are meet through continual communication and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders
  • Process all project submittals, RFI’s, and supplemental instructions 
  • Coordinate contractor on-boarding 
  • Aid project manager in contract development and review
  • Manage project processes and checklists to ensure that projects are being executed in a strategic manner
  • Track key performance metrics and recommend adjustments                                                                                                 
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex business processes and concepts
  • Focus is to develop basic resource management or asset management skills
  • Assists in the execution of resource and asset management objectives for the year
  • Assist in developing the project strategy and supporting business case
  • Communicates project strategy and direction
  • Tracks key project milestones, performance, and recommends adjustments                                                    
  • Provide daily administrative support as needed to the project team
