Volt is currently seeking a Project Coordinator.

Candidate Responsibilities

Summary: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field. Ten plus years relevant experience with previous project management experience required. Skills and Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, etc. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients. Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence. Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

Worldwide coordination role within Motor Grader Product Group in support of S&OP. Activities to include Distribution Center inventory planning, loan account transaction management, core price list support - including projects and documentation, S&OP process and tool support to MG Demand Manager and facility schedulers

Education Requirement

Bachelor's Degree is required. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Operations is preferred. Being certified in APICS is preferred.

Technical Skills

Required: Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 2-4 years of experience required. Desired: familiarity with Caterpillar production planning systems including Mach1 (SAP)

Soft Skills Required

Strong verbal and written communication skills partnering with a global work team, detail oriented, with good analytical skills
