Job Description:

Small project/work package management and coordination that aligns with agile software teams. Successful candidates will have strong Excel skills, excellent interpersonal skills, be solution driven, and stay calm under pressure. This job entails high levels of organization, and great communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage or lead small projects/packages, along with project budget and milestones
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools to ensure all projects adhere to high quality standards, meet customer expectations and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with Project/Program Managers to plan and implement IS projects and tasks.
  • Develop, maintain, update, and oversee project plans and schedules using tools established
  • Gathering project requirements and documentation 
  • Track and report project and budget status
  • Ensure completion of assigned actions
  • Identify project/production issues and resources to provide solutions or escalates to avoid project delays
  • Serve as point of contact for project information and updates.
  • Ensure the availability of appropriate materials and resources, updating action items, budget spreadsheets and coordination of project materials for review and approval cycles.
  • Track key project milestones and program performance and recommend adjustments.
  • Perform risk and issue identification and mitigation.
  • Maintain forecasts and project plans including schedule, cost, resources, contingency and communication plans.
  • Present project performance to various Steering Committees and stakeholders on a regular cadence.
  • Vendor management, procurement and integration of tasks.
  • Contract facilitation and coordination.
  • Conduct Lessons Learned to facilitate best practices.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management/Coordination (technology related projects).
  • Experience with Project Management lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Closing)
  • Knowledge of IS concepts and basic operating principles of data communications and information systems hardware and software
  • Must have a safe and productive work environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adaptability, accountability, and ability to self-manage
  • Software Development Lifecycle education and/or experience.
  • Displays notable soft skills, emotional intelligence and analytical judgment abilities
  • Indicates knowledge of business and organizational awareness
  • Prioritizes stakeholder partnership, relationship management and dynamic communicative methods
  • Demonstrates agility for learning, researching, adapting and responding to change
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, One Note, Teams)
