Represents a business group on strategic and tactical project teams and serves as the point of contact for issues to ensure that the needs of the group are known, defined and met. Duties: Represents the business group on project teams and serves as the point of contact. Evaluates, develops and implements new processes and policies to maximize operating efficiencies and satisfy business requirements. Develops and defines requirements for projects. Develops and executes test plans and time lines to enable smooth and timely project implementations. Develops and updates department specific forms, contracts or manuals; Coordinates communication with appropriate personnel or customers. Creates and updates spreadsheets and databases to track statistical data. Creates documentation and training materials. May provide training on updated processes and policies. Assists the business group with daily job responsibilities as needed.

Specific Position Requirements  

***Max bill rate is 55.00/hr. The hiring manager is looking for candidates with engineering backgrounds, not IT.***This position is for a Project Manager to support the implementation of an internally developed web application that facilitates the execution of the Product Verification and Validation (PV&V) process within the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP). The position will lead cross functional teams at implementation units to implement and integrate the PV&V web application at one to four product line unit locations simultaneously. JOB DUTIES: *Develops schedule of implementation activities required at each unit, scales appropriately based on each units size *Creates and executes the communication plan for each implementation *Facilitates work assignments, maintains issue tracking log including lessons learned and resolves issues within project milestones to the satisfaction of unit PV&V leadership *Monitors ongoing implementation status and maintains communication with stakeholders including status reports and health metrics *Facilitates and leads two to three cycle testing sessions of the web application for each implementation, this includes data migration from existing application databases *Facilitates process mapping of existing processes at implementation units and utilizes existing state process map to lead creation of change documentation training material to be delivered to users at the implementation unit *Leads cross functional team through transition training activities including planning, creating content, scheduling, executing, and tracking the training at the implementation unit *Tracks and communicates issues and change requests for new web application to the application Product Owner *Creates Test Cases to ensure positive and negative business process scenarios are documented to test the web application software prior to implementation *Regularly participates in executing web application test cases to become an application expert as well as validate software functionality prior to production releases REQUIRED: *3 years Product Development Processes and/or Project Management experience Candidate must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally. Domestic: Dubuque, Waterloo, and Moline. International: Germany, China, India, Brazil are possibilities. Candidate must be available at least 2 days a week to start at 6:30AM CST PREFERRED: *Experience with Rally, Microsoft Visio and Visualizing proposed process data flows that are complex in nature *Experience with web applications
