This is an estimated 1 year + Contingent/Temporary position in Spokane, WA and offered through Volt Technical Resources.   • Works with the Project Manager to coordinate the efforts of the project team
  • Providing administrative support for Substation Projects
  • Document discussions and decisions made at  Projects meetings
  • SharePoint Administrator for the Program and Project SharePoint sites
  • Maintains records management systems
  • Procure local, state and federal permits for construction projects
  • Accountable in providing oversight to ensure documents are organized, complete, retained, and available for documenting the decisions and work activities of the project;
  • Updates and tracks project schedule and budget metrics
  • Track project metrics to be included in management reports
  • Providing backup in the administration and refinement of project team procedures
  • Interfaces with outside consultants, contractors, and internal organizations
  • Maintains records management systems.
  • Interfaces with outside consultants, contractors, and internal organizations.
  • Responsible in administering badges and on-boarding activities in a timely manner
  • Supportive as the liaison with facilities for moves and facility related issues
  • Supportive in assisting the Substation Projects Sponsor/Manager, Portfolio Manager, Program Managers and Project Managers with presentation and report development as required
  • Responsible to attend and actively participate in Substation Projects meetings


  • AA or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical field
  • Preferred certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Business computer skills such as Excel, Word
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments/responsibilities
  • Proven knowledge of Project Management best practices
  • Analytical/problem resolution skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • Associates in Civil Eng Tech or Bachelors in CM related degrees preferred
  • Advanced business computer skills such as MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Visio);
  • Proven experience with MS Project, Oracle Primavera P6 or other advanced scheduling tool preferred
  • Updates, and tracks project schedule and budget reports
