Project Coordinator 

This company located in Richland, WA which is a joint action agency formed by the Washington state legislature in 1957, representing the convergence of small and big public power is seeking a Project Coordinator for a long-term contract role. Their consortium of 27 public utility districts and municipalities across Washington takes advantage of economies of scale and shared services that help utilities run their operations more efficiently and at lower cost, to the benefit of more than 1.5 million customers.

The selected candidate Assist the Project Manager with Planning, schedules, earn value and organizes the work to ensure utilization of craft and compliance with all contract requirements, quality standards, and budgetary guidelines. Maintains close working relationship with project manager and/or operational management in ensuring project management services are being properly executed and needs of the company are met. Interfaces with groups inside and outside the organization, senior management, other locations, and client representatives.

Responsible for the supervision of the performance of all field construction activities within a discipline in conformance with plan, specifications, schedules and cost estimates. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess a High School Diploma, BA/BS degree (preferred) 3 years of project managerial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required - Typical experience ranges from 1 - 3 years.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of and experience with nuclear facility Project management (preferred) not required. Attention to detail. Expert PC skills including Microsoft software. Ability to obtain an unescorted nuclear power plant access.
