Job Description

Volt is looking for a non-IT Project Manager to work on-site with our customer in Mossville, IL in a contingent position forecasted for 1 year. This position will develop, analyze, mitigate risks with delivering New Product Introductions and other Product Development Projects. Oversee PMO processes and documentation, development of new areas of support for the PMO, facilitate changes or improvements to current PMO Practices. Manage the portfolio of New Product Introduction projects for customer specific engines. Work with applicable Account Managers, NPI Leaders, Platform Leads and Component teams to develop and manage the plans. Work with other members of the PMO that manage different aspects of the development cycle. Negotiate dates, ensure proper communication levels, provide routine stakeholder report outs.


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering or a related field. Will consider candidates without a bachelor’s degree that have significant experience and proven results.
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Very experienced in Project Management tools & processes
  • Expertise in Primavera
  • Experience in MS Project
  • Professional training in leading and facilitating meetings
  • Strong team leadership skills, excellent communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Fully effective interpersonal skills are required to deal with project team issues, develop others, or influence others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.
  • Desired Skills: Tableau and/or PowerBI Experience.
