The role of Proofreader will be responsible for insuring the highest quality of Marketing Collateral content for Bank partner review and driving towards internal and external approval of content. 

The qualified candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to internal and external stakeholders with final work product is error-free, consistent, and accurate. This role reports to the Director of Banking Operations. 


  • Review and proofread print and digital program marketing materials for spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, usage, consistency and branding in adherence with Marketing Guidelines.
  • Manage collateral submissions and responses between Channels and Bank partners.
  • Develop positive, productive relationships with stakeholders through clear communication of information and calling for actions or decisions that drive & deliver business results.
  • Facilitate and host meetings within the company and or its Issuing Bank partners to negotiate marketing collateral copy.

Skills and Experience

  • Superior grammar and spelling skills, the ability to concentrate for long periods of time along with effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 + years of relevant experience in English, journalism, publishing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Aptitude for learning new systems and processes.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to operate within a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage effective, productive professional relationships that stimulate and support business performance.
  • Experience working in the financial services industry or other such regulated industry like health care.
  • Fluent reading and writing in Spanish is a plus.
