Provider Network Manager Sr

Start Date: 10/1

Pay rate: up to $39-49/hour DOE

Must be able to work remotely

Required Experience:  

Seven years contracting and negotiation experience involving complex delivery systems

Intimate understanding and experience with hospital, managed care and provider business models.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the management of complex contract arrangements and negotiations for value-based reimbursements with hospitals and other multiplex providers. Monitor and audit the financial performance of assigned contracts. Build and communication channels with internal business partners. Develop networks and identify areas of opportunity for greater efficiency and risk mitigation. Ensure the accurate implementation and administration of executed contracts. Assist in the resolution of escalated and/or complex provider complaints and problems.  Provide guidance or expertise to less experienced team members as needed.

  • Gathers, reviews, processes, maintains, and updates required documentation (i.e. licensing, liability coverages and certifications) to ensure brokers, agencies, and sales staff (new and appointed) are appropriately set up in systems and are compliant to allow for sales of respective product lines.

  • Develop and maintain a cost efficient network of contracted providers for each product to meet the needs of our membership.

  • Proactively identify provider payment or utilization variations and take action accordingly to solve for and communicate to leadership.

  • Identify strategic opportunities to realign standard and/or complex contracts to value-based arrangements and monitor the financial performance of such contracts.

  • Partner with internal key stakeholders to prepare and present financial performance reports on assigned contracts to leadership. 

  • Formulate, analyze, coordinate and negotiate contracts with large healthcare systems and provider networks.

  • Leverage utilization, financial, clinical, and benchmark data from multiple sources to assist in the development, deployment, and performance measurement of innovative payment initiatives and methodology.
