Job Description

Purchasing Operations team is looking for a Purchasing Associate/Admin who will be responsible for reviewing purchase requisitions and purchase orders generated by various internal departments. A successful candidate is familiar with basic purchasing and accounting fundamentals and also capable of following corporate policy and procedures to complete daily tasks.


  • Review high volume of  purchase requisitions
  • Ensure requisitions are completed accurately and meet corporate guidelines
  • Interact with management and other departments to answer requisition related questions
  • Create and maintain accurate supplier information in corporate database
  • Participate in and drive continuous improvement projects/initiatives.
  • Help resolve requisition and invoice discrepancies with suppliers and forward all necessary documentation for invoicing approval and payment to appropriate department

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of exceptional ability
  • Experience with ERP systems and purchase order processing
  • Able to work independently with little instruction and can adapt to change
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to details and deadlines
  • Able to work well with others in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with knowledge of Excel
  • Effective communication skills and customer service approach
  • Action-oriented and solution-driven and able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Highly accurate and detail-oriented
