Job Description

VOLT is seeking an individual to fill a position as a QA engineer with a local company in Hillsboro, OR. This is contingent role for over 9 months with possibility of extension.

It is 100% remote role for the candidates from (OR, WA, NV, CA, ID, UT, CO, AZ)

Must Have's:

  • Strong experience with UI automation using any programming language (preferred C#), and any automation tool (preferred Selenium WebDriver)
  • Strong experience in developing and maintaining test automation for Mobile (Android/iOS) application using any cloud providers (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, Kobiton, Sauce Labs, Perfecto, or others..)
  • Strong experience working with Emulators, Simulators and Real devices, using any of the mobile automation tools (Appium or others)
  • Experience with UI Performance testing using any performance testing tools
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, version control tools (GIT or any other)

JOB PURPOSE

Performs testing and analysis tasks on the overall architecture of hardware, software, and networking systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and maintain test plans and procedures for system integration. Perform usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security. Maintain a record of test progress and test results. Write test cases or test scenarios that align to business requirements, functional specifications, release notes, use cases and/or user stories.
  • Test business applications following detailed test cases and scripts in an effort to identify software defects through manual or automated tests.
  • Identify, investigate, report and track defects to resolution.
  • Participate in multiple concurrent testing efforts.
  • Assist with departmental documentation as needed.
  • Provide clear and concise status back to project team and department management.
  • Provide input to Test Approaches, Test Plans and Release Findings according to department standards.
  • Ensure accurate, timely and tested releases are implemented into the production environment.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent work experience
  • 1 – 3 years financial or banking experience.
  • Experience working with technology teams in a testing role.
  • Experience with testing methodologies.
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously as needed.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to quickly learn new business applications.
  • Ability to train and present to small and large audiences or has the interest in learning to train and present.
