Direct Hire- QC Technician- Costa Mesa, CA

The QC Technician will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinate the calibration of measurement equipment
  • Perform technical investigations of product non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure all incoming inspections, final inspections and transfers are performed in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards and testing procedures for incoming materials and finished goods.
  • Recommend corrective actions necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications and standards.
  • Perform visual and physical inspection by sampling testing and control of the inspecting articles and materials to conform to established standard of quality, appearance and other requirements after completion.
  • Complete comprehensive 1st article reports accurately and efficiently.
  • When required, must be able to perform the duties of Final Inspectors and/or Receiving Inspector.
  • Perform initial and ongoing training of Shift Inspectors.
  • Create MRB in IQMS and perform the corresponding materials transaction.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean, safe manner.
  • Work with production, assembly and planning departments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Observe all company and department safety regulations.
  • Maintain, revise and enforce ISO 9001 / AS9100 / ISO 13485 Quality System Procedures.
