Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Plymouth, MN

Job Description

The chosen candidate will be prepping docs to include inspection procedures. Will act as quality engineer support for a variety of departments. Very fast paced position with on the job training. Will take direction from a variety of leads but ultimately will report to Mission Assurance manager. Candidate should be ready to be a utility player.


  • Verify specifications using purchase orders, prints, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists
  • Assist with inspections of purchased parts and materials for conformity standards, specifications, and processing requirements
  • Ability to properly inspect dimensions using measuring devices such as micrometers, gauges, CMM, and calipers
  • Assist Program Quality Engineer with preparing documentation including code requisitions for procuring material and write incoming inspection procedures
  • Assist PQE with ensuring compliance to contract quality requirements and AS9100/ISO 9001 Quality system processes on development and production programs
  • Review inspection and acceptance data to assess process capability and product compliance
  • Assist PQE with planning and implementing quality activities including writing product inspection plans, initiating material review board actions, resolving nonconforming material issues, and facilitating corrective actions.


  • Minimum 2 years of Quality Technician experience
  • Experience with Purchase Order, specification and drawing interpretations
  • Print reading and GD&T experience required
  • Applicants selected must have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Associates Degree in technical field or equivalent experience required. Four year degree preferred.
