Hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer in West Phoenix!

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements.
  • Investigate customer/warranty quality assurance issues.
  • Document data obtained during quality assurance reviews and use quality assurance tools such as statistical process control (SPC), failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), etc. for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
  • May assist in performing Process Capability studies.
  • Maintain the Quality Manual.
  • Participate in Quality Process Improvement events. 
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and production teams to solve quality problems.
  • May participate in or lead Kaizen events to solve quality assurance problems.
  • Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities. Prepare reports to communicate the results of quality assurance activities.
  • Prepare and present technical and program information to team members and management utilizing Pareto Analysis, Frequency Distribution, and 5 WHY analysis techniques.
  • May present training on quality topics including ISO requirements and standard operating procedures to ensure a quality product, Kaizen processes, etc.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance standards, including current ISO requirements.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and ISO (ISO 9000 preferred)
