Quality Control Artist in Irvine, CA at Volt

Job Description

Volt workforce Solutions is currently seeking two Quality Control Artists for a client of ours in the South Orange County area. These Candidates will be responsible for performing confirmation testing on corrected shots, take shot notes in multi-discipline meetings, identify potential continuity errors, learn to use and test new software as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of animation-related quality control experience
• Excellent eye for visual detail
• Solid understanding of the animation pipeline
• Exceptional communications skills (oral, written, and listening)
• Unrelenting self-motivation, initiative, and diligence

Preferred experience:

• College degree in an artistic discipline, or comparable industry experience
• Familiarity with software used to create animated shorts, such as:

Production tracking and review tools – Shotgun, RV, Imaging software – Photoshop, Gimp, 3D packages – Maya, 3dsMax, Rendering engines – RenderMan, Redshift and Compositing software Nuke, After Effects
