The Quality Assurance Coordinator will help with the day-to-day Quality activities under the supervision and guidance of the Quality Assurance Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Interface with customers
  • Must have be able to interpret Blueprints
  • Experience using measurement devices, gauges, schematics, calipers and micrometers
  • Review policies and procedures for compliance and customer requirements
  • Be aware and knowledgeable of QA policies, procedures and metrics
  • Develops, implements and maintains quality documentation and metrics
  • Monitoring and maintaining training records and ensuring training needs are analyzed and programs are established
  • Assist QA management in the preparation of internal and external audits
  • Responding to any product quality related problems that may arise during the manufacturing and shipping processes
  • Reviewing with the Quality Manager all non-conforming material received from suppliers and subcontractors and determining the actions required
  • Act as an agency representative on workshops, related to QA issues
  • Provide consultation and offer recommendations to managers in addressing identified quality or compliance issues
  • Review and approve/disapprove quality certification packages before shipment to customer

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience with Material Review Boards and RCCA process
  • Experience working in manufacturing organization
  • Familiarity with inspection techniques
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some College
  • At least 2-5 years Quality Assurance experience 
  • AS9100, QMS or TS16949 experience
