Quality Data Analyst

VOLT has partnered with a leading global appliance manufacturing company to offer this opportunity for someone who has a strong background and passion in Quality/Data Analysis.   • Analyzes Quality Performance Indicators from various sources in order to pinpoint quality issues while ensuring that quality performance indicators meet corporate goals
  • Create, adapt, implement and update quality performance tools
  • Monitor trends and assess impact of quality related decisions
  • Works closely with Product Maintenance Engineers to pinpoint and resolve quality issues and implement corrections
  • Assists Quality Director to prepare presentations for corporate meetings
  • Prepare and Analyze results both weekly and monthly, by product categories and brands

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets
  • Proficient with MS Access and Advanced MS Excel(VBA knowledge)
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, JDE, AS400, etc.)
  • Performance Tools (SCR, QLC-M)
  • Autonomous and flexible to adapt to change management
  • Must have the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • HS Diploma

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone. The employee frequently is required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
