Volt Workforce Solutions is currently searching for the right candidate for one of our major client’s in Wilmington DE as a Quality Engineer - Expert.

The Quality Engineer provides a leadership role in the development of a Quality Management System (QMS) for the Remarketed Instruments business, including authoring documents and (SOP) Standard Operating Procedures in support of the QMS and will interpret product regulatory and safety standards, product quality compliance and directives, and certifications for refurbished products. The Quality Engineer will provide guidance and oversight on quality standards for refurbished products.

Position:         Quality Engineer - Expert

Hours:            Monday – Friday     1st Shift

Duration:        12 – 18 months

Pay Rate:       $40.00 - $45.00/hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the architecture of a Quality Management System for the Remarketed Instruments business.

Ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations and the regulatory needs of the industry.

Assist in implementation of Lean principles, ISO 9001, and other regulatory requirements as required.

Perform reviews and audits to assure compliance with the regulatory needs and quality standards.

Collaborate with Marketing, Support, and across organizations to improve quality, compliance, reliability and performance of refurbished products.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing

Demonstrated teamwork skills and ability to lead, collaborate and work effectively in teams across different businesses, functions and geographies

Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Demonstrated experience integrating, guiding, and influencing global resources across several complex departments or functions

Experience working with regulatory requirements

Knowledge of ISO and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, QSR), and Quality auditing.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting
