Energetic, self-managing individual responsible for Mobile Range Quality Engineering support and development activities which include the implementation of functional initiatives, ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (QMS). Ability to lead continuous program health assessments, improve deliverable products, manage customer relationships, and partner with various program leaders and teams through all product life-cycle stages.


Major responsibilities:
•Apply knowledge of industry level practices for continuous improvement.
•Become proficient & assure compliance with RABQ QMS.
•Assure continuous assessments of program implementation of systems, policies & procedures.
•Work with Technical staff & SMEs to communicate effective Quality practices needed for the cultural shift into more traditional production practices
•Assess & implement process controls to special processes & key product characteristics to ensure products meet end item performance requirements & mission assurance objectives
•Documentation Support activities, release of required documents to technical staff
•System/Sub System Assembly Quality Inspection Activities
•NCMR/CAR Generation, follow up & tracking to closure
•Floor Build QA inspections
•Support Incoming Quality & Technical Inspections of materials for programs
•Support the management Manufacturing Lien Approval Process & Tracking
•Engineering Support Activities CCB/ECN ; FRACAS & CTS reviews & meetings
•Additional Critical Support Activities, as required
?DCMA/Customer QA oversight

Required Education/Skills:

High school, secondary school or equivalent with 6+ years technical experience throughout all phases of the design & development & transition of products to manufacturing. Vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.

Support & engage others in the alignment of understanding of the Quality operating model

Identify problems & solutions & implement actions to resolve

Demonstrate strong analytical & problem solving skills. Experience identifying root cause, initiating/implementing effective corrective actions and/or tracking corrective action to closure.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 & AS9100 requirements

Must be a self-starter, work proactively to prevent problems, demonstrate flexibility & have the ability to multitask.
