Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking and hard-working and reliable Quality Inspector/Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection of incoming raw materials/components and products at various stages of production process, per documented specifications.This position supports the Production departments by observing processed and products on the manufacturing floor.

Job Description:
Job Title: Quality Inspector/Technician 
City: Goleta

Job Duration: Temp to Hire
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2nd shift (3:30 p.m. - 12 p.m.) Must be able to work in the morning to get trained for 2- 3 weeks.
Pay Rate $20 an hour

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Perform incoming inspection or 1st article inspection on raw materials/components according to written procedures
  • Inspect and test in-process and final assemblies according to written procedures
  • Maintains the Material Review Board system and supports internal procedures for identification and disposition of discrepant material
  • Assist engineering in product design verification and process qualifications/validations, per documented protocols
  • Perform routine quality oversight of controlled manufacturing area for material identification, traceability, equipment calibration and equipment issues that may require attention. Supports manufacturing equipment inspections.
  • Performs routine QA environmental testing and reports results, per documented matrices and instruction, and upon request by Production or Engineering functions

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent/Bachelor degree in related field preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in similar role
  • FDA, cGMP, ISO and applicable Quality System Standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access computer programs
