     Seeking Quality Analyst

Through niche recruiting expertise and project management, VWS delivers solutions in IT, Technology, Engineering, Accounting, Administrative, Call Center, Human Resources, Technical and Creative Communication, and Manufacturing.

Volt is actively recruiting for a Quality Analyst to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Monroe, NC. Position is temporary to hire for the right candidate. Candidates will need to be available to work 40 hours weekly.

The ideal candidate will work with moderate work direction and can identify issues/problems. Work on a variety of new touch screen technologies and related products, perform product and system design verification testing for functional compliance, performance, reliability, usability, operation under stress, and environmental limits - including compatibility testing with 3MTS controllers and customer simulation testing. Will also perform various product qualification activities including: running product qualifications and experiments, set up and monitoring automated test equipment, and writing test reports and procedures.

Duties Include:

• Review drawings to designate between Design Parts and Commercial Parts.
• Create eBOM structure per 3M-PSD policy, which includes adding BOM items for electronic components.
• Assist with migrating CAD drawings from 4 different CAD software tools to Enovia platform.
• Cross reference Bill of Material items with legacy part numbers.
• Assist with building Engineering Bill of Materials in Enovia platform.
• Assist with connecting eBOMs to product documentation and model numbers.
• Location administrator for GPLM; managing access, updating member lists, troubleshooting issues, training, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

• College degree in a Science field
• Ability to read drawings and understand Bill of Material structure
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results by due dates

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Product Lifecyle Management software, Enovia specifically
• Knowledge of BOM items: Design parts, Commercial parts, Raw Materials, Semi-finished, and Finished Goods
• Project Management experience
• Experience with Hardgoods/Electronics Bill of Materials
• Experience with Inventor 2015, Creo v2, SolidWorks 2016, Althium CAD software
