Description :

A local leading organization is currently seeking experienced Receiving/Inventory Supervisor in Monroe, NC for a direct hire opportunity. Receiving/Inventory Supervisor position require candidates to be responsible for incoming orders while performing tasks according to safety guidelines. Excel knowledge is a big requirement.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Receiving supervisors oversee and direct the activities of teams that receive and handle items and deliveries. This role balances direct receiving activities and stock handling with team leadership duties such as training and guiding employees, developing policies and procedures to enhance receiving department activities, and maintaining inventory control and management records.

The receiving supervisor supports and coordinates operations within their department and makes key decisions regarding the unloading, intake, storage, and distribution of items. In many cases, this leadership role also plays a part in maintaining receiving and warehouse department budgets, managing the department’s workflow, and promoting safety and efficiency.

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of BANN  and Inventory
  • Knowledge of the shipping and receiving 
  • Knowledge of restoration programs gained through formal education or on-the-job training preferred (ex. Certifications)
  • Five years of relevant supervisor experience.
  • The ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to successfully complete a client specific background check
