Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a global leader in the gaming industry to identify candidates for a temp-to-hire Receptionist position. 
The Receptionist will serve as a positive first impression of the company at all times, answer inquiries, provide information to customers and visitors, and maintain an organized front desk.


Will offer general administrative support across the organization.

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Provides overall administrative support and serve as first point of contact for the Austin   department, providing excellent customer service, and addressing employee queries regarding any office issues.
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Issue visitor badges
  • Manages the reception area to ensure a smooth running of the office and help to improve office procedures and day to day operation.
  • Scheduling conference room and vendor appointments as necessary. 
  • Coordinates all logistics associated with meetings / video conference setups
  • Organize and schedule all video conference and conference bridges meetings with required parties.
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services.
  • Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
  • Order front office / breakroom supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, parties, conferences and celebrations.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Flexibility
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
