Contract Recruiter opportunity for well-respected Health & Service Provider

 1+ year of recruitment experience

Up to 6 month contracted role

M-F, 8am-5pm (flexible hours)

$23-$36 Hourly DOE

Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a non-profit Health & Service Provider in pursuit of an Recruiters to join their Portland team. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-known and respected organization while building your experience.

As the Recruiter you will be responsible for consulting and implementing the sourcing and recruitment services for open positions. Specific responsible will include:

  • Partner with Hiring Manager and  HR Strategic Partners to build comprehensive recruitment plans, clarify required job skills and competencies, and use the best sourcing strategies and techniques for each job category
  • Proactively manage candidates and prioritize requisitions based on metrics and understanding of recruiting goals
  • Collaborates with TA Coordinators to ensure reqs are complete, opened, activities/candidates tracked and closed in the application tracking system
  • Effectively attracts and locates the best candidates for each position utilizing all available tools and acquired knowledge. 
  • Source candidates using networking, social media, events, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools and Programs such as employee referrals, diversity, military and professional outreach
  • Manage the offer process and acts as liaison between the candidate and the Hiring Manager during negotiations.  


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • At least 1 year experience as a recruiter
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Applicant Tracking Systems experience required
  • Confidential and organized
