Job Description

The best Recruiter for this amazing opportunity will be responsible for providing day-to-day tactical execution of recruitment strategies using creative sourcing methods to recruit and hire talent for our company. Partner and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure an effective recruiting process and positive candidate experience using exceptional interviewing techniques. Must be willing to work to gain a solid understanding of the company's organizational structure to ensure the best possible talent is hired.

Responsibilities:

Meet with hiring managers to review job descriptions, determine position tasks and  define qualifying application questions

  • Create job requisitions and route for approvals
  • Create/post job advertisements
  • Internal job posting External posts online and on Indeed, Craigslist 
  • Work with recruiting/temp agencies as needed
  • Candidate sourcing
  • Resume collection,  behavioral assessments, screening, distribution and tracking
  •  Initial phone screening and interview scheduling
  •  Provide notification of hiring decisions to all candidates
  • Conduct reference checks for final candidate
  • Maintain employee referral program.
  • Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, etc.
  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • In collaboration with the Senior HR Generalist, develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
  • Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements
  • Attend job fairs
  • Schedule skills assessment with temp agency for all administrative positions
  • In collaboration with Sr. HR Generalist, conduct all pre-hire tasks
  • Send new hire notification email, create first day agenda, orientation materials
  •  Assists with orientations, on boarding, and processing of new hire paperwork including I-9 verification

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of full life-cycle recruitment
  • Knowledge of employment law (CA State and Federal), job description generation and employee relations
  • Driven, solutions-focused recruiter with strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with hiring managers to ensure an effective recruiting process
  • Recruitment experience in healthcare industry preferred
  • Computer literacy with specific proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, HRIS systems experience required
  •  Ability to identify and handle priority and/or sensitive issues with discretion and a commitment to confidentiality
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Demonstrated track record of participating in programs that resulted in improved efficiency and measurable results for the organization
  •  Ability to establish credibility with candidates, managers and employees
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently, work proactively, and to achieve results without close supervision
