Location: Catawba, NC

Job Description

Seeking  a contract recruiter to join our team serving our Catawba and Claremont operation.  This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with human resource and recruiting experience to use his or her skills in a dynamic, growing and high-volume manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in generating recruitment status reports (e.g., open requisitions, time to fill, applicant flow).
  • Attend training to learn new recruitment practices and develop subject matter expertise in recruitment (e.g., applicant tracking systems, reporting, sourcing, compliance).
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a pipeline of candidates for positions for a high-volume manufacturing facility.
  • Work with hiring/account managers to develop plans to identify candidates including database searches, phone/web mining, applicant tracking, and job board word searches
  • Interview and screen applicants.
  • Coordinate candidate drug screening and background checks.
  • Develop innovative employment recommendations for hiring managers.
  • Assist in Job postings as needed
  • Source candidates for high volume position openings

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • At least 1-3 years of recruiting or related experience required or comparable education
  • Experience in cold calling, and high volume recruiting preferred
  • Ability to assess candidates effectively via telephone or face-to-face interactions
  • Ability to multitask, use time management and organizational skills effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

EDUCATION
Some higher education experience is preferred.
