SUMMARY

We are seeking an individual to fill a position as a Recruiter with a local company here in Spokane WA.

Summary:

The Recruiter is responsible for service excellence throughout the recruitment cycles and acts as a brand ambassador for the company. They are focused on delivering top talent for their hiring managers while providing proactive and timely communication on the status of the search. Their candidates have positive experiences, receive feedback on the status of their applications and feel that the recruiter is accessible. The Recruiter is driven to learn and does not fear challenges.

Hours of Work:  Typical schedule is Monday – Friday. Off-site appointments or events may need to be scheduled outside of typical work hours. Remote work is allowed in this position, as approved by the Vice President in accordance with the Remote Work policy.

Educational / Career Requirements: 

High School Diploma or GED, plus 2 years at the Collegiate Level

Preferred experience recruiting in a call center environment or entry level office positions

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

  1. Excellent organization and coordination skills.
  2. Must demonstrate an extreme attention to detail and the capability for multi-tasking and research
  3. Display competent computer skills
  4. Capable of problem-solving and performing self-directed or assigned tasks within the time required
  5. Possess a high level of professionalism and interpersonal communications skills
  6. Possess ability to effectively evaluate resumes to identify desired qualities and skills

Job Duties:

  1. Utilize exceptionally innovative sourcing techniques and leverages technology to find active and passive candidates, and establishing a network of talent and resources.
  2. Complete detailed job scopes conversation with the hiring leader to determine position specifications.
  3. Timely review of applicants who have applied
  4. Source candidates via resume databases and networking sites using Boolean search language.
  5. Solicit and pursue referrals from business networks and/or internal referrals.
  6. Articulate value proposition for candidates who are interested in the job opportunity.
  7. Prepare candidates for interviews; providing logistical information, interview schedule, and expectations for follow up from the recruiter.
  8. Ensure all candidates are provided with timely updates concerning the status of their applications and interviews.
  9. Conduct professional and thoughtful interviews.
  10. Compare candidate interviews notes and skills assessments with requisition specifications to determine if the candidate is a match for the role.
  11. Continuously build talent pipeline to ensure there are multiple candidates in play at all times.
  12. Articulate a job offer and drive for candidate acceptance.
  13. Provide accurate and regular reporting of recruiting activities.
  14. Proactively and regularly communicate the status of each search to the hiring manager.
