Job Description

Position:        Recruiting Assistant

Location:       Indianapolis, IN

Status:           9 month contract (end of September 2019 – Summer 2020)

Shift:              Day Shift – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday

Basic Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States

Additional Information :

  • Currently position is projected to start end of September and continue through Summer of 2020.

Travel Percentage :

  • 0-10% (Travel may be a short distance, 3 miles to next nearest site)

Additional Skills/Preferences :

  • HR/Recruitment and/or Customer Service Experience
  • Knowledge of HR processes, compliance and employment practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate appropriately both orally and written
  • Ability to be flexible, dependable and a quick learner
  • Ability to a focused team player
  • Ability to communicate effectively with HR professionals and business partners
  • Experience using SAP
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (2xB)
    • Execute the transaction to hire from applicant tracking system to SAP to create new employee records and internal transfers
    • Interact with candidates, as appropriate, throughout recruitment process by scheduling interviews, creating agendas, completing external travel, scheduling assessments, gathering additional information, etc. 
      • Support Recruiter on various tasks
      • Execute movement in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as required
      • Conduct background check process
      • Complete assessments on required compliance documentation and processes
      • Escort candidates to/from interview suite
      • Assist with project work as needed
