We are actively seeking a Recruiting Coordinator for our client in Durham, NC. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic company that is a global leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics.

The duration of this assignment is up to three (3) months.

The Recruiting Coordinator will support the recruiting activities of the North America Recruiting Team. The Recruiting Coordinator provides collaborative branding and talent search efforts with universities, professional organizations, trade organizations and other forums in the life science, biotechnology or medical device industries. The Recruiting Coordinator will assist with screening, interviewing, hiring and communicating with candidates and hiring managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Propose and assist with strategies in order to source top candidates utilizing direct sourcing, social media, internal succession plans, job fairs, networking, trade shows, employee referrals, etc.
  • Champion collaborative relations with major universities in order to implement an University Relations strategy, attracting top graduates and interns for roles within the Company.
  • Assist with innovative projects and campaigns (i.e. global social media project, diversity initiatives) to attract top talent while promoting the Company as an employer of choice.
  • Under the guidance of the Recruitment Manager; monitor, update, communicate and pursue usage of the various job boards and tools available on social media for the recruitment team (career builder, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.).
  • Maintain Communication with employees about career opportunities, Hot Jobs bi-weekly email; and Employee Referral monthly email.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor  Degree in Life Sciences, Business or HR-related discipline
  • 0-3 years of corporate and agency recruiting experience is preferred
  • Excellent communicator (written and oral) with ability to communicate to audiences at all levels in a clear and effective manner.
  • Demonstrate project management skills while managing multiple projects at once.
  • Highly skilled judge of candidate performance and behavior based on interviews.
  • Proficient in the use of all recruitment tools including social media, application software.
