Recruitment Specialist

FT/1st Shift $15-16 8:30am-5pm

This position is responsible for the smooth and effective operation of resume management, interviewing candidates, vacancy management and hiring process.  

Associates Degree and 3 years of human resources experience preferred. 


  • Conducts interviews and schedules on site visits according to Agency standards.
  • Prepares resumes and applications for the review of the various program management staff.
  • Applicants for interviews with service line personnel or administrative personnel and prepares necessary paperwork.
  • Makes job offers upon Administrative approval and completes Payroll Actions for new hires.
  • Prepares information packets for interviews and greets applicants.
  • Prepares reports for HR and service line personnel regarding the status of interviews, on sites visits and scheduled hires.
  • Assists with  interviewing arrangements including but not limited to: room assignment, scheduling, reception, ad management and processing of  the results and tracks the status thru disposition.
  • Attends career fairs, job fairs, on-campus interviews and processes corresponding applications and follows thru to disposition of referral.


  • Participates in staff training/orientation program and provides input related to improving staff development.
  • Completes exit questionnaires with staff that resign from the BNI.
  • Assists in the implementation and monitoring of the Fleet Safety policy by submitting MVR’s for processing, conducting annual MVR processing and notification of managers and service line personnel of the status of drivers.
  • Responsible for the placement of ads in the newspaper and other media as well as proper accounting of costs for human resources advertising.
  • Acts as back up for the electronically filed workers compensation claims.
  • Acts as the liaison to the Information Technology personnel related to the Security aspects of HIPAA compliance.
