Responsible for achieving revenue targets by acquiring and maintaining customer relationships in the West US region (West Coast, West Canada, East including MT/WY/CO and NM) for all company products. Also, responsible to manage distributors branch offices and representatives to achieve regional financial objectives. Coordinates with Sales Business Unit (SBU), Product Business Unit (PBU) and Operations leadership to meet customer requirements and resolve customer issues.
EDUCATION: BA in Marketing, or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years sales experience in magnetic components or other related industries combined with team and customer account & territory management

SKILLS: Strong computer familiarity with MS office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Superior interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills required.
INTERNAL: Regular interactions with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Inside Sales and Customer Service personnel, Business Unit leadership and executive level leadership.
EXTERNAL: Regular interactions with all levels of personnel with customers and franchised representatives and distributors.
CHALLENGES
1. Identify the decision makers at the customer for product and design. Qualify company parts and effectively compare competition. Engineering, organizational, and strong people skills are required.
2. Developments in reschedules, cancellations, pricing, and credit disputes. Problem solving, record keeping, and negotiation skills required.
3. Getting new designs sampled or committed. Pertains to new products and packaging concepts.
4. Bring various elements of company organization together (marketing, planning, etc.) to meet account expectations and requirements properly and efficiently.
5. Developing credibility with internal company organization regarding accurate, objective reporting to Account Manager in real time.
6. Identify market drivers and/or trends at customer. Drive actions within company and Customer base to successfully place company in a position to grow revenue in the sales territory.
