Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager for a manufacturing company in the Boise area.

Essential job functions:

Monitors and facilitates salesman’s efforts to achieve quotas and goals. Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with salesman contract negotiations and closing sales.
  • Communicate with customers to understand objectives and requirements.
  • Support customer accounts and create/maintain relationships.
  • Continually conducts market research and performs pricing analysis to ensure sales points were competitive among industry leaders both locally and nationwide.
  •  Develop and implement strategies to increase profit margins.
  •  Participates in trade shows by representing the organization and sharing information on products.
  • Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs.
  • Review and submit sales order sheets in a timely manner.
  • Display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of company employees and customers.
  • Adhere to and ensure company policies, attendance policies, and safety regulations are followed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

  • Able to create and implement marketing strategies and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Able to answer customer questions and solve problems in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ability to self-motivate, lead teams, and succeed in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Must be able to communicate information and instructions in a clear manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, which may include frequent interruptions.
  • Outstanding problem solving, analytical, written and oral communication skills.
  • Approximately 50% travel.


  • BA/BS degree preferred in sales/marketing or other business related field.
  • Training in current sales techniques preferred.


  • Minimum 5 years working experience in a senior-level sales position.
  • Demonstrated success record of sales team management that met or exceeded sales goals.
  • Demonstrate successful sales strategy development and execution in an organization.
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce.
