Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking a Reliability Engineer – Data Analytics to work onsite at our client’s facility. This is a long term contingent position with John Deere in Urbandale, IA.   

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Develop specific analysis reports and solutions for identifying patterns or trends related to reliability performance using telematics data.
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop actionable high impact data analytic solutions.
  • Assess and build upon existing tool architecture and implementations to support developing best in class “big data” approaches.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience writing scripts in SQL.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages an analytic tools such as SAS, R and/or Tableau.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data analytics methods.
  • Minimum 4 year degree in Data/Science, Mechanical, Reliability, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Skills in any of the following areas: Telematics Data (Diagnostic Trouble Codes, Machine/Engine Operating Conditions data), Field Reliability Data Analysis (DFR), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experience (DOE), Degradation Data Analysis, or Statistical Analysis.

***This position is located in Urbandale, IA. Candidates must be able to relocate to this location at their own expense.***

Must be available to work on W2 for Volt. No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
