Job Description

Volt has partnered with one of the most innovative producers of smart devices and we are looking for qualified candidates to fill upcoming Remote Technical Support Advisers in the Elk Grove area.

All candidates must complete a series of evaluations to assess skills. Selected candidates will work safely from Home.


  • Flexibility within this parameter: 7 days a week, between 5 AM to 8:30 PM (including Holidays)
  • Minimum 1-year experience working in the technical support field including support via phone resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues.
  • Strong technical skills including knowledge of smartphone terminology and use of Microsoft Office/Internet Explorer
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Possess excellent verbal and written skills
  • Able to meet minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
  • Must have a high speed & stable internet line or Wi-Fi
  • Ability to adapt to the fast-paced internet environment and inbound calls
  • Consent to a background check
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused and self-manage
  • Must complete full training; zero tolerance for any tardiness or absences while in training.
  • Must sign an agreement pertaining to Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure and Intellectual Property


•    High School Diploma or equivalent

•    IT Education would be considered as a replacement for experience
