Job Description

Volt is partnering with a global leader in the healthcare industry who is need of a Financial Analyst II/Revenue Analyst.

The Financial Analyst II assists in the performance of economic research and study in areas of financial analysis within the assigned function(s). In compliance with company policies and procedures the Financial Analyst II gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts for management review. Required experience with MS SQL.


  • Coordinate meetings, communication and reporting between Revenue Analytics, Revenue Cycle Transformation, IT, Managed Care, Revenue Centers and other teams
  • Perform complex data analysis requested by the Revenue Analytics division identifying trends for revenue recognition
  • Work with the Payer Call Team to assess the following; Integrity of collected data, identify timing of release (% claims released early related to efforts from Call Team
  • May participate in process reviews, business process analysis and internal control testing; ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and other regulatory requirements within the assigned function(s)
  • Responsible for reporting, analysis and special projects to include;
    • Tracking hold/release claims
    • Impact of Deductible and Out of Pocket Max Measures
    • Overall revenue uplift and reduction in MSP and Bad Debt 
  • Adhoc analysis, as needed

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics or related field required


  • Minimum of 2 years of applied finance and analytics experience
  • Required experience with MS SQL
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suites with intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel required (v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of general accounting and revenue cycles preferred
  • Can work independently and under minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented with good organizational and analytical skills
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, tasks and client conditions
  • Great interpersonal skills to work cohesively within a team environment
  • Great oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management
