SUMMARY

We are seeking an individual to fill a position as an RF Network Engineer with a local company here in Spokane, WA.

OVERVIEW:

The engineering department of this local Corporation’s Enterprise Technology (ET) group currently has an opening for a Radio Frequency (RF) Network Engineer. This group incorporates both the Information Technology and Information Security (IT/IS) operations of the organization. This position will be responsible for supporting the design and development of integrated network RF devices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Support RF systems/devices related to, but not limited to, Distribution Automation (DA), Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), corporate network traffic, and future business cases.
• Follow the IT standard operating procedures and when necessary suggest changes and/or develop new standards for new equipment.
• Build strong relationships with personnel in the various business units.
• Complete all documentation, engineering drawings, and network diagrams of the systems being deployed for submission to the archives (AutoCAD, Visio, etc.).
• Gather a Bill Of Materials (BOM) for equipment quotes from approved vendors.
• In addition to knowledge of RF systems, networking knowledge will be necessary to interface with the rest of the Network team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Field Preferred
• Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) Required
• Cisco Certified Networking Associate – Wireless (CCNA Wireless) Preferred
• Must have 5-10 years of related experience working with RF and networking systems
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Must have the ability to manage work over several simultaneous projects at one time
• Must have great interpersonal skills
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
