Regulatory Analyst (12-month contract)
Maplewood, MN

Volt has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in search of a Regulatory Analyst! In this role you will be responsible for, CDMS entry, LCM Clean-up/SKU assignment, RM Change Reports, RM Approvals and Shipper labels.

Responsibilities:

  • RM Supplier Engagement - coordinating completion of RMIFs, verify composition disclosures (e.g. proprietary non-materials), verifying global chemical inventory status of RM components, verification of the non-presence of country specific restricted, prohibited or banned chemicals, facilitate Confidential Non-Disclosure Agreements for ascertaining REACH registration status or compliance with other regulations
  • CDMS Record Creation/Data Entry (SDS, Labels, Transport Classifications) VOC Calculations, collecting additional data for legacy records when CDMS adds new data requirements
  • ELMS record creation/documentation
  • RM Change Reports – evaluating the nature of the monthly changes and whether CDMS product formulation records need updating and rereview by corporate EHS staff
  • REACH SVHC evaluation of products based on substances being added to the REACH SVHC lists
  • Ensuring compliance with EHS staff metrics of the CDMS Scorecard
  • Vendor engagement of purchased finished goods and raw materials to verify CA Prop 65 and REACH SVHC status
  • Evaluate existing CDMS records and product labels for accounting of newly listed substances on the CA Prop 65 Cancer and Reproductive/Developmental Toxicity Lists
  • WERCS Data Entry
  • Corporate TSCA Reporting Activities
  • Responding to internal and external customer requests (i.e. presence of Japanese and Korean restricted/prohibited/banned substances)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in the Sciences, Regulatory or Engineering discipline
  • Technical background and proficient in Excel
  • Accustomed to working in fast-paced environments
