Job Description

Regulatory Affairs Associate (12-month contract)
Maplewood, MN


The person hired for this position will primarily be responsible for product regulatory compliance and creation/update of documents for hazard communication and life cycle management.


•Creating, managing and maintaining Hazard Communication documents including Safety Data Sheets, labels, Safety Inserts, and Reg Data Sheets for new and existing internal materials and industrial products.
•Assist global customers with their product EHS&R inquiries including regulated lists, RoHS/WEEE, REACH/SVHC, global inventories, local, state, federal and global regulations.
•Assisting US labs and plants with TSCA compliance activities.
•Working with manufacturing facilities to obtain formulation, composition and regulatory information.
•Performing routine regulatory tasks for new and existing materials and products.
•Supporting compliance with corporate policies through implementation of division procedures.
•Other duties as assigned.


•Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
•Minimum of three (3) years of chemistry experience in a private, public, government and/or military environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry with emphasis on inorganic chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Technical or Life Science focused degree from an accredited institution.
•Use of Chemical Data Management System (CDMS).
•Experience in product EHS&R, including OSHA Hazard Communication, US and global chemical control laws.
•Project management experience.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
