The Sales Administrator is responsible for providing legendary service to clients and brokers by completing service requests, resolving questions/issues and supporting sales activities associated with qualifying prospects, The installation of new clients, changes to existing clients, and renewals. Provides administrative support to designated sales representatives(s) and account managers.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Research, resolve, document and accurately respond to client, broker or administrator inquiries and service requests.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other VSP departments client requirements and needs to ensure accurate information is available to support client?s plan design and to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Maintains department?s records/files to ensure accurate record keeping, security and confidentiality of files.
  • Performs confidential administrative functions such as generating proprietary reports or proposals for clients. 
  • Provides general office support.Prepares and conducts presentations to clients and client members at open enrollment meetings and benefit fairs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Typically has the following skills or abilities:One to two years work experience in an administrative support function
  • Proficient in a Windows environment and with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate plan and installation information
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve moderately complex problems.
  • Type 35 wpm.Testing Required
