Volt Workforce Solutions is partnering with a large aerospace manufacturing organization in search of a dynamic Sales and Operations Planning Manager.

Job Summary

Maintain the analysis of the customers demand on the next 18 months and identify capacity requirement. Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.  To initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.  Verify the implementation of solutions and control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain statistical analysis of the customers demand as well as Production capacity.
  • Develop accurate metrics to identify performance to meet the customers demand.
  • Participate to continuous improvement project to improve the delivery to our customers with the implementation of supply chain solution.
  • Support Master Planners to develop their supply chain strategy – Level of management of their product lines.
  • Participate to lean transformation initiatives.
  • Support Customer Service to develop usage of customer’s portals.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

  •  Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
  • 5/10 years’ experience in Supply Chain/Planning
  • APICS or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years in industry
  • Strong understanding of material management, JIT, MRPII, WIP tracking, shop/floor dispatch, domestic and international traffic, scheduling and capacity planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitating and teambuilding skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership
