Volt is looking for a Sales Manager in Enterprise IoT Workspace

This is a direct hire position with our Fortune 500 client located in Ridgefield Park, NJ  

Required Degree: Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus

Required Experience: 10+ years IT experience or 5+ IoT or smart workspace business

Travel %: 10% ~30%

Our customers include enterprise and public sector customers in both the domestic and international markets.

Our IoT Business Development team is looking for a motivated sales professional in enterprise IoT workspace solutions to increase sales and grow with us.


  • Lead the Enterprise IoT sales business life cycle from proposal >negotiation >contract >post-sales support.
  • Meet target revenue and profitability
  • Identify market and customers and develop service offerings for future connected workspace
  • Source and follow up on new sales opportunities through inbound leads and cold calls
  • Leverage all channels (external and internal partners) to generate sales pipeline and enhance sales opportunities
  • Develop and prepare sales offerings including channel, hardware, and solution sales strategy
  • Build trusting relationships with internal resources and external partners
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations to executive management and customers, including C level executives, middle management, and staff level.


  • Bachelor’s Degree Required; MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in IT/IoT or smart workspace business
  • Proven track record of B2B enterprise IT sales and execution of new service offerings
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and offerings (budget, P&L, quality)
  • Excellent presentation, communications (written, oral) and problem-solving skills
  • In depth knowledge of IT solution sales, smart workspace and IoT knowledge a plus
  • Ability/commitment to learn how our products and services work
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
