Salesforce Analyst / Administrator

This is an estimated 6 month temporary position, in Denver, CO and is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. We are among the largest staffing companies in the US for contingent/temporary and direct hire placements, and support many of the top rated Pacific Northwest companies.

The Analyst is responsible for supporting and improving our SFDC environment by collaborating with IT and business users to sustain and improve an environment that enables the company to operate simply and efficiently within our environment. This role will leverage technical expertise and customer service skillset to troubleshoot and correct production issues within Salesforce as well as collaborate with business SME’s to continue to enhance our usage of the SFDC platform within the company. This role will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand the application, the business process that it supports and build relationships with key business users.

Above all you will be expected to carry out all your activities with reliability, integrity, compliance and in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner.

Essential Functions & Principal Accountabilities:

  • Act as a primary support point and escalation point for L2/L3 issues from our facilities and offices across North America.
  • Participate in an after-hours support rotation to provide support to end users if necessary.
  • Act as the End-to-end owner of problems, issues, or escalations
  • Perform escalations when necessary to Salesforce or internal departments and work with the other party to resolve the issue to the satisfaction of the end user
  • Work with the Business owners, IT Business Analysts and vendors to help create/code/configure small enhancements as requested by the business or identified by the application team staff.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to provide enhancements and support to our users in a timely manner and with a positive customer service attitude.

Required Education, Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Math or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in Information Technology including at least 2 years as a SFDC Administrator
  • Experience providing end-to-end ownership
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Education, Experience, Skills:

  • Experience in a food manufacturing industry
  • Experience in application support or application development
