Volt is seeking a Salesforce Analyst/Developer to work onsite at our client’s facility in Peoria, IL.  This position could possibly reside in Chicago, IL if the candidate prefers that location over Peoria.  This is a contingent position forecasted for one year.  Within this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with business partners to develop, and support applications on the platform
  • Promote code though various environments such as Dev, QA, and Production
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions that best leverage the platform
  • Develop custom solution and interfaces
  • Design and implement APIs and web-based interfaces utilizing Apex code, Web Services, etc.
  • Interact with Service Now to create incident and service requests
  • Utilize Salesforce SQLO Workbench for queries/upsert/auditing
  • Research Salesforce logs and auditing to resolve user or application issues

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent training
  • 2-4 years of experience with design, development, administration and operational support
  • Experience with custom objects, custom tabs, page layouts, and email services configuration
  • Additional programing experience such as HTML, XML, JSON, JQuery, SOAP, AJAX, and/or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of different SFDC Tools such as Apex Data Loader,, Workbench
  • Knowledge of different deployment tools like Ant, Change Set and AzureDevOps
  • Salesforce Administrator Certified and/or Developer Certified
  • Conversant with build, release, deploy software
  • Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models
  • Basic knowledge of niche computer software, such as Oracle,, Lawson, etc.
  • Strong Apex Unit Testing skills
  • Firm understanding of Object Oriented Programming methodologies, design patterns and development best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time
